Test Page

This is an attempt at coding a page that works. Since the menu codes are not direct links, they cannot be used in browsers that do not support javascript.

It is worth noting that this page is very dynamic, in so far as everything (ecept the menus) is based on the page width, thus it should work fine in smaller windows as well as larger ones.

It has been commented on that teh advert graphic above will overwrite the site logo to the left if the window gets too small, this is intentional. The T-web logo is just a background graphic, the Adverts bring in cash and thus are slightly more important.

I dare say that once 75% of the worlds population subscribe to t-web Katie could twist my arm to change this till that happy day.. I guess the ads stay.

Drop down menus - T-Web prototype Menus

Ok I've swapped out my menus and put the real ones in place, not as nice to look at (me liked the transparent background of mine) and a real pain to work with (absolute positioning.. ARGH) but once in place they work extreamly well, so they stay (function over form anyday). I've had a play with the colours to match the rest of the test page, and sorted out the alignment of the to menus furthest to the right.

The bit for script impared browsers

This is intended to provide simple text links to all major pages, this will work in text only browsers and anything that doesn't run scripts. it is *not* setup as a 'noscript' section so that it *will* always appear, hence its location at the foot of the page. Naturally this bit needs more links than are actually here, this is more to indicate the visual effect than anything else.

Naturally what links go here, and in what order is to be decided. I'm leaning towards either one line for each of the menus above or using small graphics (with suitable ALT tags for text only browsers).
